Metropolitan Naples is expected to continue the transformation of Fifth Avenue South moving eastward with its enviable location and luxury lifestyle. Long-time residents and developers Jerry Starkey and Fred Pezeshkan are developing Metropolitan Naples together. The duo won a CRA design competition to create a transformative urban community which would stimulate redevelopment. Pezeshkan came to Naples in the early 1980s and built several residential, mixed-use and commercial structures here including Naples Bay Resort and iconic buildings on Fifth Avenue South. Starkey moved his operations to Florida in 1988. He has developed many large-scale luxury master-planned communities, golf courses, luxury hotels, marinas, traditional residences and high-rise homes throughout Florida and other states.
Reinaldo Borges of Borges Architects joined the team to design Aura as a contemporary piece of art to reflect the iconic location and first impression to the City of Naples and Collier County. He has designed luxury condominiums around the globe and his buildings reflect sophistication and enduring appeal. Interiors by Steven G rounds out the design team and in collaboration with Borges promises to deliver a luxurious experience for owners of Aura.
